Dr. Sanjeev Saxena is a board-certified interventional cardiologist in New York City. He has practiced cardiology for over 20 years. In 2016, he opened the first outpatient cardiac and vascular invasive lab in Alabama. He built a robust peripheral arterial and venous intervention practice, with multiple satellite locations. He also owned a medical spa, an assisted living facility, a medical research organization, and four 24/7 fitness clubs. He works for USA Clinics Group, the parent company of USA Vein Clinics, USA Fibroid Centers, USA Hemorrhoid Centers, USA Prostate Centers USA Vascular Centers, USA Pain Center, and USA Longevity Centers.

Dr. Saxena earned his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Georgia. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine, followed by an internal medicine residency at Penn State University and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease from the University of Miami. He earned an MBA from Auburn University. Board-certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Saxena has been treating patients with critical limb ischemia for over two decades.

Dr. Saxena has participated in clinical research in varied disciplines such as heart failure, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, peripheral arterial disease, and chronic kidney disease, resulting in medical publications, a national award for a presentation at the ACP National Meeting, and invitations to lecture cardiovascular professionals at continuing education conferences. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and holds an ICCA-accredited Certified Personal Trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
